Welcome to our Picture Gallery

Last updated 30th September 1999

This first picture was taken at a recent training session and shows our shield colours (red and white) although individuals are free to choose their own design. Our glorious leader 'Thorbjorn the Left-handed' is in the centre with the striped shield and that's me on his left with the white cross.

The following photos were taken when we visited the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin during 1999 (all photos taken by Bryan Betts)

1. 2. 3.

1. This is a Viking-age hand axe, an indespensible tool around the house (or battlefield !)
2. The ultimate Viking weapon, a Dane-axe.
3. Must keep pretty for the girls. Viking-age combs.

4. 5. 6.

4. A variety of different spearheads.
5. A display of weapons including swords.
6. Don't forget the banquet !!

7. This boat was actually built within the museum as part of the exhibition. It was finished by the time we got there, but a great exhibit all the same.

More pictures will be added to this page, so please come back soon.
